Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 September 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using submit.ly (“the Service”), operated by Boldbit Ltd (“we”, “us”), you agree to these terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a firm, you confirm you have authority to bind that firm.
2. The service
submit.ly lets firms create document requests, share private upload links with their clients, receive files, send reminders and review submissions. We may change or improve features at any time; we will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce functionality.
3. Accounts and workspaces
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity in your workspace, including that of team members you invite. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Your clients' data
You control the documents you request and the clients you contact through the Service. You warrant that you have a lawful basis to collect those documents and to email those clients, and that your use complies with applicable data-protection law. We process client data only on your instructions, as described in our privacy policy.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Service to send unsolicited or deceptive messages.
- Do not upload unlawful, infringing or malicious content.
- Do not attempt to access other workspaces or interfere with the Service.
We may suspend accounts that breach these rules.
6. Subscriptions and payment
Pro plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through our payment provider. You can cancel at any time from your billing page; access continues until the end of the paid period. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment.
7. Storage and retention
Files are stored for as long as your account is active and within your plan's storage allowance. You may delete files, requests or clients at any time. If you close your account we delete your workspace data within 30 days.
8. Availability and liability
We aim for high availability but the Service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; we will notify account holders of material changes by email. Questions: support@submit.ly. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
